Words of wisdom: Learn anatomy. I know it's boring but emulating/copying others styles first will stagnate your abilities in the long run. Trust me on this. You will not like yourself later if you dont work on your anatomy in the beginning. Even your favorite cartoonists know their anatomy, that's how they know they can make their styles work.

I don't know what happened, Somehow, Your name was removed from my watchlist even though I have not touched it at all.

You can self teach yourself by getting books and spending time in the better part of the nudes gallery here on DA. You just have to force yourself to study and practice a lot and not cop out like many do whining about "but I suck" or "It takes too long!" or "I dont have time". Most of all you have to avoid using your "style" when doing it. Styles are inherently flawed so leave them out completely when you do your studying.

i'm not very good at teaching myself things. i know taking too long and me "sucking" are part of learning something new. for some reason i have trouble sticking to things without external prodding. =/ i've gotten books and the ones at the library aren't very helpful for novices. ^^;
